I have known and been associated with Joanne Lang and Eclipse Living Essence for over ten years.   I first met Joanne when I became a student to learn more about Aromatherapy. Her knowledge and enthusiasm became apparent from the outset of the course. I must admit that I was more than a little sceptical about Aromatherapy but by the end of the course was convinced that there is a place for complimentary medicine alongside conventional medicine. After more research, when the course finished, I was convinced enough to become one of Eclipse Living Essence consultants. After doing an Aromatherapy course via Correspondence and not really learning much more than I could read in any good book, I searched the internet for more extensive courses and I literally stumbled across Eclipse Living Essence. (I'm not that good on the net).

I liked the fact that it was in W.A as I live in the far South West of the state, (280km from Perth) and when I called the company I actually spoke directly to Jo the owner and teacher. She was friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely helpful.

When I received the course outline and other information regarding the company I decided that the Certificate 1 was where I would start. I loved everything it had to offer.

However I was working fulltime and trying to study it just didn't stick the way I hoped it would, but Jo was always positive and encouraging when I rang with any problems I encountered (Usually of my own making). I finally finished the Cert 1 and was overjoyed at how I felt and with the knowledge I had gained.

My family and friends benefited immensely from my knowledge and my confidence in my ability to work with oils. This made me decide to study further so that I could make a living from doing something I really felt passionate about, thus creating a job in a small country town where jobs can be hard to find.

I started on my Diploma in Aromatherapy , this is both  taxing and enjoyable the hardest part is disciplining myself to set aside time each week to study, but with Jo's encouragement and the joy on the faces of my client's it is all worthwhile, even people who just know I am studying are interested to know how I am going with the course and what I have learned since they last spoke to me.

I am now about halfway through the diploma and have just given up my part time job to open my own small business I work two half days doing massage and have a range of aromatherapy products that I sell and loving every moment of it.

Very informative, relaxing and fun workshop. I would highly recommend Eclipse Living Essence Aromatherapy Centre to anyone interested in the field of Aromatherapy as Jo has a wealth of knowledge, experience and know how. Being able to come away with a better understanding of blending essential oils and mixing and blending cosmetic ingredients has given me a lot more confidence now knowing the correct process when combining cosmetic ingredient.
