Skin Care Workshop
This is a unit from the Diploma of aromatherapy, during this 2 day workshop, students receive hands on practice of making 8 –10 items including Serums, Toning concentrates, toothpaste, Luxury Moisturisers, Body lotions, muscle balms, lip balms, Soap, hand and body scrubs, luxury silky honey moisturizing bath treatment. You take home samples of all products made and receive a course manual packed with information and recipes.
Cost $350.00 Times; 10am-3pm.
Correspondence students receive A power point CD covering a number of the products is offered along with samples of the base ingredients jars , labels etc, so that correspondence students can make the products at home. Telephone/ Email assistance is also offered, if required.

Intro to massage
Learn the basics of massage using top quality essential oil blends. Give and receive massage, while learning about the health benefits and safety issues. This workshop is intended for people wishing to provide basic massage for their family and friends, or for potential students wanting to try basic massage prior to embarking on a professional course.

Introduction to Aromatherapy
Learn how to effectively and safely introduce aromatherapy into your life. This interactive workshop, provides you with practical skills and knowledge that is guaranteed to ignite your passion for this amazing therapy. The use of essential oils can enhance your health and well being while saving you money and supporting the planet. You will learn how to prepare a range of cleaning products, natural body care items and lots more. You get to take home a natural room or body spritzer and lots & lots of information. A special workshop essential oil kit is also available for purchase on the day.

Aromatherapy Treatments
This unit involves the preparation, consultation and application of a variety of aromatherapy treatments, including ;-Poultices, Therapeutic Clays, Infusions, Body polishes, Hot Rocks, Gels, Pastes etc, a plethora of natural remedies incorporating essential oils and carrier mediums. Lots of hands on experience equipping the student with excellent practical skills to increase range of treatment to offer clients.

Clay
A 1 day workshop where you learn about the amazing effects of natural active clays. You will learn how to ingest clay for health, how to make poultices and face masks for a variety of condition. You will receive hands on experience of preparing and applying clays and receive a 100gm pack of the clay of your choice to take home – plus extensive course notes. This workshop is also part of the Certificate III in Aromatherapy

Certificate II in Aromatherapy
Certificate II in Aromatherapy is designed to awaken one into the wonderful world of senses and to give you the grounding in the art and science of Aromatherapy.
The investment for the course is $750.00, all materials and a kit of 12 essential oils are included in the cost of the course. Payment in full prior to commencement and receive $50.00 discount.
Some of the course content:-
- Safety/Contra indications – which oils to use with care and which not to use at all. The facts not fiction
- Study 12 essential oils in detail looking at the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of each oil.
- Various ways of using essential oils, finding the most appropriate method of application in a variety of situations.
- Various massage techniques, students will give and receive massage.
- Blending, we look at the process of blending, taking into consideration the essential oil notes and therapeutic effects of combining various oils, you will get hands on experience of preparing a variety of blends which you then take home.
- Essential oils and common ailments. We look at a variety of ailments, discuss the most appropriate oils to use
- Students receive substantial course notes and a book of blends covering a wide range of conditions/ ailments with lots of suggestions and blends to use for each.
- Carrier oils and their therapeutic properties. What to look for when buying carrier oils , how to select the most appropriate carrier for various skin requirements and therapeutic properties, shelf life etc.
- Essential oils for skin care , We look at a variety of skin types, students prepare a skin care package suited to their individual needs. Students use these products during the aromatherapy facial practical, then take them home.
- Aromatherapy for pregnancy and childbirth.
Plus lots of practical uses and much more.
All materials used during the course are included in the cost, Students also receive a kit of 12 Essential oils to take home. Students are entitled to a 25% discount on all products purchased at Eclipse.

This course is also accredited for students wishing to
study via correspondence. The whole course can be successfully completed externally , students who wish may attend classes for practical elements if desired.
Attendance classes are held on Saturdays from 10—3 pm during which all practical skills are demonstrated and practiced
The attendance day will be offered through the year on a demand basis. The next class is scheduled for Saturday 2nd then Saturday 15th March, Friday 11th April, Saturday 31st May. Other dates will be available soon.
on Conditions $300.00 is required to secure a place on certificate courses.
- $50 deposit is required for all workshops.
- All short courses are inclusive of a kit of Essential oils provided by Eclipse , the content of the kit is determined by the oils studied during the course.
- The selection of the oils is at the discretion of the Principle, no monetary refunds will be entered into , the Principle may negotiate alternative oils if the student already owns oils to be studied. This is subject to costs and availability.
- Essential oil kits will be available to the student only when the course fee’s have been paid in full.
- Students will not be permitted to sit final assessment nor be issued with Certificates until all fees are paid in full.
- Students are required to complete all assignments prior to sitting final assessment.
- Students must notify Eclipse of their intention to cease training , on or before the end of lesson 3, failure to do this will result in student being invoiced for the entire course costs.
- Students who have completed Certificate II & III in aromatherapy At Eclipse will be entitled to RPL for 3 of the units of the Diploma, please be aware that completion of Cert. II or III is not a requirement for the Diploma, it is however highly recommended especially cert II.
Methods of Payment
- Full payment of course prior to commencement of course receive a $50.00 discount
- Payment plan, pay $300.00 and received units 1,2,& 3. When you make a second payment of $300.00 you will receive units 4 ,5 and the essential oil kit with your final payment of $160 you will receive remaining units and materials. Please note all fees must be paid in full prior to attendance at the practical skills class.

CERTIFICATE III
Certificate III in Aromatherapy course; will further enhance your knowledge and application of this art.
Pre requisite; Certificate II in Aromatherapy, or similar.
The course offers two day of practical skills dates to be confirmed, the remainder of the training is home based student will receive hands on experience of practical skills such as massage and blend during the two attendance days. The investment for the course is $800.00, all materials and products to the value of $150.00 retail is included in the cost.
Overview of COURSE CONTENT:
Chemistry you will investigate the functional groups commonly found in essential oils and the effects these have on the systems of the body
Perfume, make and take home a personally prepared and created quality natural perfume.
Clay and Clay treatments, the therapeutic properties of a variety of clays, methods of application and uses.
15 - 20 Essential oils discussed in detail.
Medical terminology and the appropriate essential oils to use for given ailments
Back Massage, make a blend for partner from information given on consult chart.
Foot Massage, Learn how to give a foot massage, make a blend of essential oils suitable for partner, look at reflex points, and discuss various ailments that affect the feet and the oils to use.
Consultation Chart, The questions to ask before giving a massage, how to take an effective consultation create a blend of essential oils suitable for your partner from the information received during consultation.
Case History, if we get a volunteer with a health problem we will discuss suitable essential oils and applications. Reviewing their progress weekly.
Solubility experiment, what are the best mediums to disperse essential oils in.
Certificate issued on successful completion of Course, which includes on going assessment and research project (researched in own time).
All materials used on the course are included and students select essential oils and products to the value of $150.00 (Retail) to keep.
All classes presented by accredited teacher and work place trainer.
